Life Lately

So we’re nearing the end of January 2019, our house is coming together and Mike is finally home!

I can’t believe we’re coming up on 1 year of home ownership. I moved into the house March 29th 2018 and Mike has been here off and on for about a month collectively. Haha, that’s just how it goes…

The Fiancé:
Mike has been home from the Dominican Republic for less than a week (he started the season in February). We’re trying to get back in the swing of things – it’s really hard for me and my routine when he comes home. I’m so used to being alone that having someone else in the house, someone else to consider for meals, my outings…is a challenge. That being said, I’m SO happy he’s finally home. He’s a free agent this year and with spring training right around the corner I’m getting anxious to receive that call. Where are we gonna live? Who’s he going to play for?

Emily Elizabeth:
I’m still working from home as an Interior Designer for a company back in California and pouring my heart & soul into Life with Emily Elizabeth. I’ve never been so passionate about something in my entire life. How did it take me this long to start?! I absolutely love sharing my daily life, tip & tricks that hopefully help you and those sales I get such a rush out of. Thank you, thank you, thank you for following along!

Hank the Tank:
Hank is currently 30 lbs. of meatball perfection. He’s loving having a backyard but missing his daily dog park visits (it’s so damn cold here!) We’ve been talking more & more about getting him a ‘friend’. The poor guy loves to play with other dogs but the feeling is rarely mutual…he’s a little much.

Oh, and as far as wedding planning goes – don’t worry, I’m not holding out on you guys I just literally haven’t done a single thing yet. I know, I’m the worst bride-to-be ever. We are planning for a 2020 wedding because we already have 3 weddings to go to this fall and Mike’s off season was virtually non existent. Maybe later on in the year I’ll get my butt in gear but for now I’m enjoying not being a crazy fiancé and just staring at my new hand candy.
